Hey hey my lovelies...

You will not believe the pickle that both I and Maybel have found ourselves in...we both...yes both...at the same time...require urgent analysis of our careers...

I for one have found myself in terms of work arrangements...slowly and steadily questioning my options, my abilities, my actions, my decisions...work is work...BUT you are there for +8 hours of each working day...bottom line...not happy jan...BUT such is life...and life is too short...so a resignation was in order and accepted...

OFF TO BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS for both of us *fingers crossed*

Hi Guys,

Maybel here.

As mentioned before, I work in Fashion. And as Heidi Klum says on Project Runway "your either in or your out", or something to that effect. And as it goes, I'm out.

I should be bummed and p*ssed off, at the fact I was scr*wed. But in my heart of hearts I know I'm going to be ok. This experience is just a stepping stone for something greater, and everything you learn in life is never in vain.

ZARA - HUNGY BEAST

So, I randomly found this via ABC1's Hungry Beast.

Because like SBS, ABC rocks my world, the best channels on Australian Free to Air TV, yes I'm a geek!!!

I found it very interesting, the business model and fast fashion retailing...I'm not surprised that ZARA is number one in Europe. Just watch this video...it's so inspiring...because I love ZARA and the way their business is modeled!!

Movie: The Basketball Diaries (Character: Jim Carroll)

I love this film, my crazy mad sister is a huge fan of Leonardo so she made me watch it when we were young, and I thank her for it. Classic Leonardo DiCaprio film. Even at is young age in the fim, you knew he was going to be a rockstar actor with amazing talent.
